Youth Groups for Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers
Mt. Oilve offers programs and events for youth ministries
Especially for Middle Schoolers!
We will be kicking off our new “Confirmation Program” for youth in 6-8th grade with a regional “Middle School Weekend” in Anaheim in November.  Then, we will be gathering for faith education and service projects one Friday night a month from 5-8p.m. To register, contact Pastor Stephanie at mtoliveoffice@earthlink.net
High School Youth Group
The high school youth group at Mt. Olive meets at least once a month and participates in Synod Events, Fundraisers, Youth Trips and Service Projects throughout the year. Some events include:
SoCal High School Youth Gathering @ CLU
High School Christmas Party
High School Winter Retreat @ El Camino Pines
Ice Skating, Lock-ins and Bowling
Cooking for SAMOSHEL
Mission Trip to Mexico
Fundraising with Christmas wreath sales and Fair Trade Coffee

Youth and Family Program Coordinator

The month of October brought some wonderful new events for the youth and families of Mt. Olive! This month I took the high school youth to Magic Mountain on October 17th for Fright Fest. We join up with my husbands youth group and had a total of 11 kids! All of us had a good time and I enjoyed getting to know the friends that our youth invited to come with us.

Also this month we kicked off a new Halloween family event called Trunk o' Treat which is happened on October 31st. Starting in the month of November I will be planning one-on-one meetings with each of my high school youth over lunch or coffee or ice cream. The point of these meetings is to just see how they are doing and get some feed back about some events and projects they would like to do over the next semester.

Upcoming events for youth and family include Family Dinner and Advent Wreath Making November 28th & the High School Christmas Party December 5th.
